Founded in 1895, West Tampa is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Tampa, Florida. Its vibrant and bustling community has made it a staple area for gathering with friends and family for fun activities. Although the neighborhood experienced its first peak in the 1920s with thousands of locals and more than 100 cigar shops and factories, it's an up-and-coming community among today's population.

The historic structure has a high-end food court, bar and lounge, and historical elements, and it has the most unforgettable views of the Hillsborough River.

That said, you'll find every resident in West Tampa hanging out at Bay Cannon Beer Company at least once. This is because Bay Cannon Beer Company has a wide selection of craft beers and delicious cocktails, not to mention their food is exceptional when paired with their popular drinks.

There's never any shortage of great events and activities to attend when living in West Tampa. However, the most notable things to do in the community will always be to go to the West Tampa Market, Julian B Lane Riverfront Park and Dog Park, Tampa Riverfest, and Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
The West Tampa Market is in the heart of West Tampa, offering access to an array of popular vendors like Jane's Crystals, Pickle Shop, Scented Culture, Papi's Own, and many more. The Tampa Riverfest, however, is a nearby festival that spans the entire Riverwalk area, providing the most incredible experiences of activities, food and institutions, and local live music.
